I’m working on an eight week Bible study for our small group that looks at the New Testament, and in particular Jesus life and miracles that bring focus on the unusual nature of His interaction with the people around him whose interaction would change the view of ourselves and God’s nature.

I’m enjoying the study and this week is our second about the disciples. Do you know much about James the lesser or Simon the Zealot? The NT sure doesn’t say much about them.

Speaking of God around us, I have been watching the landscape change each week as we inch out of summer and into the autumn.

Even now the weatherman is saying that the cool down is going to really cool down this weekend! He’s even mentioned the possibility of snow showers.

Wendy has been hard at work in her sewing room and she’s just finished off two projects. These are beautiful and have prominent spots in our home.

They reflect the world around us too. The things that make us smile, the memories of happiness. The season of sunflowers and summer drives is past now. But the artwork is gorgeous.
