Wouldn’t you love to live in a Villa? Are you thinking of the South of France? How about the South of Edmonton? Yess siree…. The Villa! That’s where we live, and aren’t you jealous? We don’t shovel our own snow, not that we get much, or cut our own grass. Yes, we live in a Villa.
So what’s new in The Villa?
Well, “Steve’s place” sold finally. I think the original asking price was too high…so we will find out what it actually sold for soon, I imagine. They, whoever they are, take possession on March 1.
And we have a new neighbour….though not one that has bought into The Villa yet. He or she just moved in!

Yes that’s a coyote. He has apparently moved in under one of the decks…no doubt pups are on the way. He’s been fairly bold wandering our road, though he moves on once he sees Nugget and I coming. Apparently, he’s heard of the attack Shih-Tzu. We may need to phone the authorities who will tell us there’s nothing they will do. Time to get a long gun… after all I am an Albertan.
I did tell the coffee group that if he hangs around too long, he has to pay condo fees! That got a good laugh.
In other news, our snow is melting fast – not as fast as Calgary’s snow, but it’s disappearing a quite the rate. You can see in the picture of the Coyote the open grass – that area had about 3.5 feet of snow on it when our current warm up stated.
And… in other news, our microwave is fried. Water from the frost in the vent (i’s an over the oven model with built in range hood) ran down into the electronics and BUUZZTT!! What a smell, and so much white smoke. Nugget did not like that!

While, here in The Villa, we’re cooling down, we are still doing very well for February! Have you heard how cold and snowy it’s been in Ontario? I don’t know how those people can live in such a cold climate!? Why, even our friends in Florida were picking icicles off their trees. Brrrr!! I’m sure glad I live in The Villa here in the South of Edmonton.

Lastly, I was at Costco this week – filled up the gas tank with fuel for 109.9./ litre and just inside the front door was this great offer. I asked Wendy if she wanted this for her sewing room. She had declined at the moment.
