Today’s news is more about what is happening in our home than the larger Villa, though the renovations next door continue! Wendy and I have been focused on getting ourselves ready for the arrival of our puppy. We’re still not sure when he will be ready but it is soon. It was suggested that we look at a vet supply place near the church. We were blown away when we walked in!

This place has tons of selection for dogs and cats – and livestock and horses! We were in this place quite a while and left with a few things under our arms.

And an update on the puppy – he’s now 2 lbs and the videos we’ve seen tell us he is full of pep!

I’m reading a good book – a gift I received at the leaders’ retreat. I have never read his books before but this is a very good book and he is a good writer. And I was downtown this week for a meeting and I was rather taken aback by the size of a couple of the office towers in the rink area.

Lastly, one of my favourite photos showed up in my “memories” this past week. We had been travelling as a family from Ottawa to Myrtle Beach. Just north of MB is a tacky place filled with tons of interesting but tacky (my mother’s word) stuff. I saw this Zebra and looked at Philip in his stripped shirt, so I asked him to go give the Zebra a hug while I took his photo. It worked great!
