How do you decide what colour to paint a wall?
When we were buying our lovely home, Philip asked us to pick one colour—our base colour—and he would paint all the walls the same. We landed on Repose Grey, a rather lovely shade, which we have used as our base for matching other things.
But now almost three years after purchasing, we are adding colours to other walls.
I just finished painting an accent wall in the bathroom on the main level, now to the bedroom…

Ah, the big decisions!! Imagine not having walls to paint, or a roof to shelter you. Now that puts a few things into perspective.
We were saddened to learn of the passing of Rocket – Ted’s dog, and low and behold look who showed up this week?! This is bear – a new companion for Ted!

We have such great neighbours and we enjoy having coffee with them once a week. And when a new puppy shows up – well all the better.
Our friend Toni gave us a lovely gift when they came to visit – knowing that we were looking at Daschounds she gifted Wendy a lovely small but challenging puzzle – the pieces are all sorts of shapes but many of them are the shape of a dog, or a head, or a bone, or something related to dogs!

And finally- here’s the wall I painted. How does it look?
