I think the most lucrative thing Lego has done in the past 50 years is to create a whole series of adult Lego sets. All those kids who had scads of Lego are now adults with $$. What a brilliant idea. We aren’t to be left behind – and Wendy has a Lego Christmas village set which is coming together with the help of Fitz!
Sunday morning at Edmonton Temple, we had a lovely service and I thought I would capture a little bit of what went on. It was lovely to have Sandy and Bev do the advent reading. They both worked for TSA and have been friends for decades.

Sandie lost her husband this past year, and we had her come for dinner one evening. She is a kind and godly woman who has a positive and encouraging personality. Bev too is kind and gentle and quiet.

I was delighted to see Mark lead the band. He’s a young man with a business degree who has leadership written all over him. When I was going to be away recently I asked him to lead my Bible study and he did a masterful job. He’s emerging as a young leader in the corps.

Lastly, the songsters have been growing and as their numbers swell so does their sound. They sang so very well and Nancy is a wonderful leader. Wendy has recently discovered that Nancy too is into machine embroidery and so they are connecting on a regular basis to talk about their common interest and to get to know each other.

Lastly, Wendy bought me a advent calender of coffee. Each day I open the littlle door to reveal a different flavour of coffee. This day was Canadian Maple. Delicious without being overly sweet.
And so we are slowly making our way towards Christmas – we hope all is well in your home.
