Wendy is the eldest of three children. There were three kids in the family growing up, though the family didn’t survive long enough for all three to actually grow up, but that’s another story. We were saddened this week to hear of the death of her brother Wayne. The lived in Mississauga for the past 50 years or so, moving out in high school.

He worked mostly labour jobs and lived in the same apartment he got when he first moved out. Friday night, getting ready for bed, he collapsed in the bathroom never to gain consciousness again, and died shortly afterwards. He had had a stroke. He was 64.

Wayne kept very much to himself, lived life in a small circle and had two children – Stephen and Caitlyn. Our prayers are with them as they work through these challenging days.
