We took a drive to the beach this week. Now some of you don’t associate beaches with Alberta, but we do have some nice ones and this week we spent time at one. Less than hour from Edmonton to the west it is easy to get to.

What a lovely day and in line with their last names, the kids were like little water bugs! They loved swimming, floating and splashing about. Fitz and I created a long trench which let the water run back down the bank to the water. The sun was very warm and it was delightful.

We took our lunch and enjoyed that together in the shade – yes that’s our umbrella!

This is a provincial park and had many amenities. With plenty of parking, washrooms, boat ramp and even a little store, it is sure a great place to bring the family on a warm day.
