It’s time to catch up. First on emails and errands – yes, got the groceries and the bugs off the front of the van so you can sleep better. I know, it is hard to rest when all those bugs are stuck on the nose of the Toyota.

I know you’re wondering what is happening here. Bud is getting a new deck and apparently Jean-Eve is next. Mark’s deck is done and my grass is growing around the back where there was NO grass when we moved in. Joe and Brian have both had some surgery for skin cancer…ouch…and today was my check up with the plastic surgeon after my own adventure. Yup, there’s a place for you too if you stay in the sun too long!
It’s been hot and dry here…our lawns are brown though last night’s down pour really helped. Today things looked a bit more green but we need more. Not more like Calgary got though! Yikes – those Calgary hail storms are so destructive.

Oh, that’s a terrifying picture. It’s generated by AI (artificial intelligence)…which is now an option in Word Press. Just tell it what you want.
We are doing some maintenance on the road – yet to be completed, the fence is going to be repaired and painted and I hope we can put some of our excess money into an investment of some kind to generate a bit of another revenue stream. We are also introducing ETF to the corporation – yup bringing the finances into the 21 Century.
Our garden is doing well, there aren’t many gardens in our development which seems strange to me! I love our small patch and enjoy the whole process from seed to putting it to bed for the winter.

The flowers directly above came from our friends Ron and Toni in BC. It’s taken them awhile to settle in and flourish but they are really lovely.
How is your garden doing?
