Did you miss me? We’ve been away on a road trip – some 6500 km and we are back to our lovely little home in The Villa. Ahh…looking forward to settling in and sleeping in my own bed. Now don’t mistake me, I do love a little travel and adventure but there comes a time when I just want my own bed and my own home.

We had a great time. Let’s start there. A great time – good food, some good entertainment and good friends. And the van ran like a charm. Got to love Toyota – they build a great product.

We wondered how the weather would be – after all there had been many big destructive storms going through where we were going but in the end, one small rain shower one evening. In fact we took this picture just a few minutes before the heavens opened and we huddled under a canopy to keep dry!

This all came about when in February of 2023 we visited Stan and Debi in Florida and we told them about our visit to Missouri – that led to a discussion about meeting there in 2024. And so we did. We had some great events planned and in the days to come I will tell you more… I can’t give it all away in one blog post. We had a great time and I look forward to telling you more about it.
