Fitz saved up his money by doing chores and put aside enough money to buy a ticket for the Oil Kings game on Family Day. We took the LRT downtown and walked over to Roger’s Place to take in the game. We had great seats, just 10 rows from the ice!

The Oil Kings struggled in the middle period and lost the game but there were lots of goals and can Fitz ever cheer! He raised his voice, waved his hat and had a great time cheering!

This is the joy of living near these kids! I wish all our family were this close but this was great. Popcorn, a good hockey game, travelling on the LRT, and being together make for a great experience!

It was fun seeing Joe Ignila on the ice for Edmonton. He plays like his Dad though not a big guy he is fast and scored two goals.
