We have had this sitting in its box downstairs for some time. We already had a bottle we had been using, but now that one is empty. The bottles are such high quality we are keeping them for other uses. This is from our friend Jan, who with her husband Jim, have their own trees and prepare this every year. Jim has his own construction company and Jan worked with us at THQ.

Jan is one of those rare and unique individuals who is smart, tender, and compassionate and carries herself with poise and confidence. I have rarely met a more competent leader. And she gives away maple syrup!!

We have felt so blessed to have our home here and to have Philip, Amanda, and the kids so nice and close. Especially since I stumbled across this data on the strength of income against housing costs. This would be household income of course. But it points to the trouble of many to afford a house of their own. Affordable housing has a meaning hard to define.
