Wendy has been waiting a long time to be able to put out her Christmas village. Last year we couldn’t find the box it was in. This year we found it – with a great big bright piece of paper taped to the outside on it that said Christmas Village!

At any rate it is up and the lights are on! It is not so special that no one else has one, but it looks so nice just sitting on the cabinet. With the TV on the wall, she finally has a spot to put the village.

And of course, while they don’t look exactly like an Army band here they are serenading on the street. I’ve played so many carols under the light of a street light I had the pieces memorized at one point.

Less than a month to Christmas! I hope you’re ready! It is certainly about more than the decorations.
