We had the privilege of having each of the grandchildren here over the past few days. The teachers were off and thus the children. Carlyle arrived with a sigh. Her brother and sister are driving her CRAZY! “They are SO loud and they keep fighting and yelling”. She settled into a quiet corner with her book. We took her out to see the Christmas decorations and plants at Greenland. She seemed to really enjoy that.
Fitz was interested in two things, mostly. First eating! Orange juice for breakfast please…and turkey bacon and toast and cereal and that other cereal… He also wanted to play hockey on the driveway. We were out there a long time and he came back into the house to announce he beat Grandpa!
Paige was sad to have to wait. “I always go last!!!!” It’s hard being the youngest. But she did come and had a breif but pleasant sleep…we were up really early. We took her out to look at a new dress. Grandma loved that. Then to McD’s for lunch. That really made her day.
Now Grandma and Grandpa are catching up on their rest…on the couch while something plays on the TV. Can you envision it?
Greenland was gorgeous and I’ve posted about it before. So not too many pictures but it is worth admiring just a bit.

And finally a reminder of that special date that is hurrying along towards us! Get ready, it won’t be long.
