Craftsmanship is a quality of Philip’s work. He doesn’t just know how to do it, he knows how to do it well! The attention to detail and his desire to get it right is amazing.

You saw we started the kitchen and we’re not quite ready to do the full reveal, we still have the servery area, painting, and flooring to complete, but I think I would like to show you some of the updates.

After putting in the cupboards he built the countertops – what a “hold your breath process” as he managed the laminate. They look great – a deep blue, almost black. The backsplash is a white matte tile with platinum-coloured grout.

Here he is teaching his Mom how to put on the grout! She did a great job. The cupboards are white but come with a blue film over them and man is that tough to get off! I have all the uppers cleared but we’re holding the film on the lowers until we take out the flooring – just to protect them!

RIght now – Wendy is finding a home for everything as we adapt to the new kitchen. She loves the new features!
