The property which belongs to Barnabas Family Ministries is quite impressive. The development of course has been over many decades but it appears as late they have really ramped things up. First with the construction of the station and then with the various supporting pieces.

The station is amazing – the beams all come from the property on the island and with the glass and embeded lights, it has quite the look. Especially at night.

Its strength is that it is on an island. Its weakness is it is on an island. The cost to get here is higher than simply taking a taxi from the airport – though I confess I really enjoyed going from the airport to the train to the bus to the ferry and then to the water taxi. And maybe the time it takes to do that gives you time to leave the concerns of daily life behind.

I went to see the new playground – and I had to do a video as it is hard to capture the scope of this thing – a playground quite unlike any other.
