I’ve been delinquent on blogging lately. Our house has been busy – lots going on. But it’s also been days of joy as we’ve have been taking the kitchen apart and, mostly watching Philip, rebuild the kitchen! A new microwave and dishwasher have been sitting in the garage awaiting these days. We’re very excited!

I was also trying to get ready for the Saskatoon Corps Retreat – a great deal of fun to put together a longer session with a common theme. I picked the theme of Noah and the ark. I plan to post something further later.

It’s approaching three months since I retired and frankly, I’m still not quite “there” yet. I have not really reconciled forty years of hard work with three months of “being paid to stay home”. I suppose if you were watching me, you might not think I’ve been staying home. But for me, that’s how it feels.
