If we made a list of all the improvements in our home since we bought it in April 2021, it would include:

complete removal and replacement of all trim and baseboards – complete repaint – scrapping and refinishing of all ceilings – complete bathroom in the basement – new toilets in all three bathrooms – new water lines through the house – new lock on the front door – new hardware on all doors – LED lights throughout – new light fixtures throughout – new flooring in bathrooms and front hallway – new closets – closet doors refinished – lights wired into the storage area – hardwood floor sanded and stained…

Plus we put in a new furnace, hot water tank and added air conditioning.

And now we are getting a new kitchen!!!!! Wendy has been anxiously awaiting this and it is well underway. I’m not ready to give you the big reveal just yet. However I can tell you that the old kitchen is gone!! Philip rented a trailer, we dismantled it like it was a reverse IKEA project and off it went.

So here’s what it looked like before we started…

And here it is on the back deck… and so we began!

Don’t worry though the re-construction is well under way.
