It is between you and God

I do not need to say much to this, other than this. This hung on the wall outside the Chief Secretary’s office and was placed there by his executive assistant. It is a quote apparently from Mother Teresa.

Considering the world we live in, the divided nature of opinion and the lack of civility in daily life, this is very good advice.

Should you have trouble reading it, here it is:

“People are often unreasonable and self-centered. Forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of ulterior motives. Be kind anyway. If you are honest, people may cheat you. Be honest anyway. The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway. Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough. Give your best anyway. For in the end, it is between you and God. It never is between you and them anyway.” – Mother Teresa.
