Since our travel has been curtailed, Wendy’s been able to get back to completing Carlyle’s next quilt. After putting together the squares, she uses her quilt wall to lay them out so that she can try different combinations. I love watching how the fabric is cut, sewn and pieced together to make the final product. It is very much like woodworking but with fabric (obviously).

Philip is an excellent woodworker and I sometimes think that some of that gifting comes from his Mom’s talents.

Wendy is making Carlyle a new quilt because Carlyle asked her for one – “cause my feet stick out now” was her qualifying statement.
