We were going through our boxes of decorations and found this ornament which was passed on to us from my folks. It’s an ornament that celebrates the 200th anniversary of the building of the White House. Currently, the resident of the White House seems to like Florida more than Washington, but that’s another subject.  I do not remember how this came to my folks other than a visit at some time to the White House – let’s wait for Mom’s comment here to set the record straight.

The tree is decorated and presents are piling up below our tree! We bought a pencil tree a couple of years ago and Wendy decorates it so well – it looks classy!

We just put up one tree, though we do have another tree and perhaps one year we’ll put up two! Right now it’s enough to have one. At any rate, let me wish you a very Merry Christmas! We hope your tree is up and celebrates Jesus, the light of the world, came into the world to bring salvation.
