This past week was an important set of meetings for our territory. Monday and Tuesday we considered the ongoing needs of the territory as it relates to human resources, and what the impact of our plans will have upon the ongoing ministry which takes place at the local level.
Secondly, we had the Territorial Executive Conference where Cabinet meets with divisional leaders. This year we had great discussion as Dr. Jim Read came to work with us on ethical issues. Jim, or James as he officially goes by, was my corps cadet counselor when I was 15 so he and I have long history and our family have been friends long before that.
Thirdly we ended with the Territorial Leaders Conference where department heads from THQ joined us. Here we spent considerable time looking at the strategic priorities. A very productive if not tiring week.
In the evening I noticed that the lounge at Jackson’s Point had such a beautiful setting as it is ready for Christmas. So I grabbed my phone to get a good picture. What a post card type of shot.
God continues to bless – and He blesses you too!
