Honouring the Canadian victims of 9/11

By the lake in St. Catharines Ontario is a path that has been created to honour Canadians who died in the events of 9/11 in the USA.  A series of trees and some benches have been placed along a quiet area overlooking Lake Ontario.

There were 26 Canadians killed (and a list of all their names and some appropriate information is posted here) either in the twin towers or on board one of the planes.  I’ve taken just a couple of photos to represent the many.
