I will commune with thee

Some time ago, I wrote about the mercy seat I had photographed at the corps in Wetaskiwin.  It had caught my attention as it represented the “old” style of mercy seat which is quickly disappearing.  You can revisit that post here.

This week, up at Jackson’s Point I noticed the mercy in the Auditorium, and the inscription.  I thought I would continue my capturing some of these in a photograph before they are all gone.  But also it needs to be recorded that during the week, and especially on Thursday evening there were a number of tears on this altar – a number of good decisions made, a number of knees bent in surrender.

My prayer – Lord keep the ground gained in these young lives.  Let no one discourage their faith.
