It’s been a while. Have you missed me? I’ve been out and about, and frankly enjoying being unplugged. Do you enjoy that? My world has changed significantly – I don’t need to be always in touch, reachable. Maybe I never needed to be. A shift in reality brings you to ask those questions.

Are you plugged in…all the time? Do you need to be, or do you just think you need to be? How can you tell? Get unplugged, see if anyone needs you.
So a couple of pictures from hot and sunny Lake George. We had lunch today at a very exclusive restaurant right down by the water. At the top of the hill a young man stopped us with instructions that we couldn’t enter. We told him we were interested in eating lunch. After some discussion we were allowed to proceed…reluctantly and with hesitation he left us go.

We ended up eating down right by the water…they had docks at the edge of the restaurant…as below. I was thrilled when an inboard boat pulled in – reminded me of what we use to call, up at the cottage, the Big Boat. The Big Boat was a Brunswick, this one wasn’t …but it had many of the same features. I spoke to the owner who told me it was from 1962…and required a great deal of maintenance. The deep rumble of the inboard sounded rich and romantic as they pulled out after lunch.
The heat and humidity has been wonderful – I’ve missed this and so there will be no complaining from this (unplugged) RVer!
