The news is out.  Wendy and I are going to be grandparents – yup me a grandpa – Wendy a grandma!

Jason and Susan have announced that they will be parents.  The first thought that crosses our minds; where has the time gone?  It seems like such a short time ago that we were new parents.  Then the kids are learning to walk and talk…suddenly they are learning to drive…leaving home, getting married!  Time moves quickly. Don’t you think?

I guess this goes along with the other change in my life in December…when I was renewing my driver’s licence in December the clerk said, “you have recorded that your eyes and hair are brown, is that accurate?” as she looks at my head.  I respond, “perhaps we could change my hair colour to grey”.
