A simple note this morning to report the blessings of God in our meetings yesterday.  A tremendous study of our Covenant God led by Kevin Metcalfe using Hosea (and other portions of the OT).  We were reminded that God is into rescuing us – that we cannot do it ourselves, we have no power to “right ourselves” or to fix our brokenness.  That’s the wonder of Jesus, His coming and His death and resurrection.

Here is the essence of the covenant: “I will be your God, and you will be my people”.
