Christmas mood

Wendy was wrapping Christmas gifts last night. Lots of different kinds of paper and lovely gift bags. We love to give gifts – don’t you? There really is something great about the feeling of giving.

As she was wrapping, and yes I did help a bit at one point, I noticed our tree in the corner. I don’t think I have recorded anything about it yet this year. We have a couple of colour variations that we can do because yes, we have LOTS of decorations for the tree.

The blue, green, teal is a favourite combination for us. Many of our ornaments are associated with someone or some place. I have a White House ornament that was my parents’ – a gift to them at some point. This year it did not go on the tree.

Christmas should be about the good news of Christ’s coming.

Tonight I was looking at Google maps and lo and behold…our van is in the picture as the camera goes by. Yes that is us. Can you see home nice and clean the van is?

And then there is Nugget – he is NOT enjoying the cold weather. But he does love coming to the office with me. This morning he spent some time sitting on my lap while I worked at the table. Eventually he decided he would rather sit ON my desk.

And lastly – in one of our meetings today, as we were signing on, one of our offices showed up in a Santa suit! We had a good laugh and I couldn’t help but take a picture – so to the theme, Christmas mood, this fits in so well. Thanks Dave for the laugh.

I hope you are having some joy in this Christmas season.
