Another week, another threat from DJT, the convicted felon currently living on Pennsylvania Blvd. Remember when politicians, let me use the word global leaders from democratic countries, sent representatives or came themselves to work out issues of policy, trade or diplomacy? Not this guy, he’s a school yard bully who makes threats to other nations, even those who have been good alies.

The tragedy in Texas was a good illustration this week. A natural disaster that took the lives of too many, including children, needed a massive response. Who sent help immediately? Mexico. Yes, the country that DJT has vilified, mocked, and attacked economically. But will DJT talk about that, will he thank them publicly? Not a chance.

The change of government and policy in the USA has been a feature of life which Canadians have watched and experienced for decades. I remember Nixon, Ford, Clinton, Bush, the other Bush, Obama and Biden. But none of them from either party has been as mocking and threatening to Canadians as this convict.

So my American friends, if you wonder why we’re not coming to your country, not buying your produce, only interested in supporting our country and our economy, just look to the guy too many of you voted for.

After the next election, or if the MAGA crowd gets removed from office, or you know who dies, well, maybe we’ll be back. Just know we’re extremely unhappy with your guy and his crowd of Fox News pals with their constant threats. We won’t be your 51 state and if this keeps up, we won’t be very friendly either.
