Unlike our tirp to Calgary, this trip is a solo trip for me, and is work related. It’s a great city in good and warm weather. As my hotel was within walking distance of The Forks I was able to walk there last evening to have a good supper, a grilled chicken sandwich with 2 cheeses, grilled pineapple, and dressings on it. The fresh-cut fries were really fresh-cut – delicious!

It is an interesting city and one I was too young to remember having lived here as a child. But the area around the Red River is well treed, and the site of The Forks is well developed with many interesting features.

This is a short visit, and I will be glad to get home!
