I really enjoy watching the birds come to our feeder, and while I wish we had more variation in the kinds of birds we are seeing, it is still winter and so many breeds are not yet here. We have had northern flickers, house wrens and the like.

I remember when we first went to Toronto in 2011 outside my office window was an area that the predator birds would sometimes bring their meal. We had hawks and vultures. One day I happened to catch a hawk with a pigeon land outside and eat the pigeon while we watched. The video is taken through a tinted window so it’s not the best quality, but it is interesting. Interesting to me at least!
