The garden is, for the most part, put to bed! The last four green peppers picked – not too big but I’m happy that we’ve had a reasonable crop this year. All the tomatoes are packed in brown paper bags to allow them to ripen slowly. I’m not sure what the total weight of the tomatoes is, but it must be more than 25 lbs. I’ve left the turnips in the ground just a bit longer. Oh, and I found one more carrot.

This afternoon, I foolishly decided to go to Costco – I wanted wiper blades for the fan. I have NEVER seen Costco this busy… holy moly… And what do you suppose was filling the aisles? Yup – Christmas decorations.

As well as the windshield wipers I picked up a new snow shovel…. yeah, I hate to admit it too, but it will come in time.
