I’ve been really happy with my Malvas this summer. Started back in February I have three really good sized plants now. Their blooms seemed to diminish in the hottest part of the summer but they kept putting off flowers and now that the rains and cooler days are upon us they seem to really be thriving. And bees love them!

I would say that they now stand some 5 feet tall and are growing wider each week. I wish they were perennials….but alas not here. In fact Edmonton’s winters eliminate some of the best perennials. But climate change gives us hope!
