Today I am starting a new position as the regional director for social services for The Salvation Army’s Prairie and Northern Territory division. It’s been a good summer – we had two road trips and had the opportunity to enjoy the summer weather.

Winnipeg, Regina, Saskatoon, Calgary, Edmonton, Fort Mac, and Yellowknife…. those will be the main sites Next week I am off to Toronto for some meetings as I get to know the team and the work in it.

In speaking to Jennifer I told her, I am doing this because I want to not because I have to. I guess I am just not ready to be really retired.
