Getting high in Missouri

Here it is – what Stan and I were SO looking forward to doing! The highest zip line in…??…. not sure how far, but it was over 200 feet at the tower. I’ve done zip lines but this would be the highest by far. And of course it is highly advertised. So you would think on a clear day (amidst rainy days) that it would be open. But no. It is not open every day. Of course if you were in a tourist area offering a tourist attraction wouldn’t you limit the days you were open?! Weird.

So then we headed to Table Rock and the tour of the caves and waterfalls.

This was a great attraction for us seniors! We drove our golf cart along the path, through the caves and by the waterfalls…then we had supper at Arnie’s Place – that’s Arnold Palmers Place. The food was good but expensive!

It was a lovely 25 C and with the sun shining it was very enjoyable…and next door was the golf course.

Do you get the idea we had a good time with our good friends, Stan and Debra!
