I had the privilege of a quick trip to Ottawa to be part of the The Salvation Army’s Week on The Hill. That gave me the chance to see Jason, Rachel, Beth, and Ted. The kids are growing up and it was wonderful to be together for just a brief time.

The kids were as sweet as can be – though they are growing up so very quickly. I loved having some time and we went out together for a nice lunch. Their questions – can I have the….? A little more money but of course. How often do I get to spoil them just a bit.

I wish we could have had more time together – but this small treat was wonderful.
