Taking the gas nozzle

Last year when we were in Saskatchewan, just leaving The Battlefords we saw a car driving out of town with the hose and nozzle from a gas pump hanging out of the car. How on earth do you get in your car and drive away without returning the nozzle to the pump?!

Yesterday, out with Phil we pulled up to the gas pump and low and behold more evidence of someone being so lost in thought that they had done the same…only these folk returned the nozzle to the pump.

I know the price of gas is high, but it doesn’t include the nozzle.

But are we any different? Are there times we do what no one might expect or not do what others might expect? I think so? I think so and confession being good for the soul I am sure there are things that I do that fall into that category.

So try not to judge others – grant them grace for the moment! Don’t criticize, offer consideration and respect. And most of all – if someone appears to need help – ask if they want help and then roll up your sleeves.

Have a great day my friends.
