Edmonton has seen some unusually high temperatures over the past week or more. Two days were 12 C degrees and as such the roads have been MESSY! Now some who know me will know that I like a clean vehicle. Even dust can drive me CRAZY… so after a week of messy roads AND we had driven from Kananaskis to Edmonton, the van looked like we had been off-roading in the mud pits.

I exaggerate not.

Fortunately, I had been able to get a car wash in a week ago and most of the MUD was off. But just as it was looking like we needed a good wash the city revealed it had one of its water supply pumps offline and they asked everyone to conserve and that car washes would close! Ahhhhhhh!

But then on Friday – the water problem was resolved and car washes were open. And yes I was early in line.

Off to Mint Smartwash!

I really like this car wash. The staff are great, the prices are reasonable and it does a thorough job! Plus when you come out they have machines to wash your car mats, clean clothes to use, and vacuum hoses – all for free.

And as you drive out – they have a big mirror for you to see yourself and how clean the vehicle is!
