Back in the game

Last week as noted here, I was at Roger’s Place with Fitz to take in the Oilers vs. Devils game. Tuesday night however I was back – and this time back in the game!

What I mean is, I’ve taken a short contract to be the Public Relations Officer for TSA in Edmonton covering Red Deer north…to Yellowknife. So as an introduction to an event I went back to Roger’s Place to be with the team for the game. Always interesting to see behind the scenes in these matters and our exit was down on the loading dock area where the buses were awaiting the teams. I was hoping we would be there long enough to see Chicago exit….but we were not.

Where I was covering last night was in the center of the action – the band, the Oiler girls, the mascot, all were right by me. The band, while super loud, was really good! And personable.

Yesterday was my first on camera interview with CTV, not that I have seen it… but I think it went well. But what do I know…

The Stahl Peterbilt group collected just under 2600 toys to donate to The Army. I was thrilled to see the team who did this and meet Mr. Stahl. A lovely gentleman who with his son and management pulled this off.
