We’ve had a few friends come through our house lately and we couldn’t be more thrilled. We love our home and it has everything to make visitors comfortable. Ron and Toni were here lately, Floyd and Tracey and this past two days were Brad and Sue.

We first met Brad and Sue in 1982 when we went to Chatham Corps for our summer appointment. They were candidates coming to CFOT in September. When they came they lived in the apartment next to us. Their son BJ was two.

Many years later BJ would end up marrying Wendy’s youngest sister (half-sister) Andrea. We have kept in touch, even been on vacation together. We enjoy each other’s company and always have lots of laughs.

They were leaving Wednesday morning – after Brad tuned up my guitar – as we went back to start the kitchen renovation. They are off to visit Sue’s sister but are hoping to be back to see the kitchen restored!

Brad helped me mount a couple of things on the wall which is high over the stairs… so good to have a second tall person on hand!
