Is anyone else noticing that both in Canada and in the USA the speaker of the house was suddenly gone… in Canada, a resignation, in the USA a removal by vote…but both need a new speaker?

In the USA it’s a civil war within the Republican party (a party seemingly intent on self-destruction) which caused the loss of a speaker in the house.

In Canada, it was an event in the house that caused the speaker to resign. However, in cooperation with both parties, on both sides of the house, a new speaker is now in place. And that man, 54-year-old liberal member of the house, Greg Ferguson has been welcomed by all and is respected and admired for his background, education, and character.

Character seems to be missing the events surrounding the USA scenario!
