Yup – that’s right. Christmas displays are showing up. To be fair, this is Greenland Nursery where they do it up big! There was a small army of people working and the area they are setting up in is huge, so I get that they are starting early.

But with the garden put away, the chairs that we relax in during the warm weather now hibernating in the garage and my snow tires on the van… well I guess we need to admit that the seasons are changing and fast!

By the way Ontario… the weatherman says we’ll be sending you a polar vortex for Thanksgiving. So thaw your turkey early.

The leaves are falling down and I’ve captured enough to cover all my gardens to protect the garden through our sometimes severe winter weather.

It seems that we went from August to October rather quickly – maybe that means we have been busy. And yes, that’s my calendar on the wall!
