They are fast, colourful and busy! Between the flowers and the feeders they were like busy little drones zipping about.

The hummingbird feeder was being swarmed by hornets. The hummingbirds were cautious of them and clearly not eager to engage them so sometimes they would approach the feeder but not actually feed.

The next picture actually captured one of the wasps approaching the bird who had just landed at the feeder.

I captured this quite by accident.
