When you drive into Camrose it welcomes you to the City of Camrose. I might raise a question… it seems more like a town when you close shops on Monday. Doesn’t it?

I mean that’s the pattern in rural Canada – closed on Sundays and Mondays.

So while they may meet the population requirements to call themselves a city – it’s really a town.

Now my confession. We forgot about Mondays.

We drove to Camrose to discover that at least downtown in the shops we were looking forward to visit, well they were closed.

It’s a pretty town…. but don’t go on Mondays.
