While waiting at the shop

I have been planning for this day for a month – booked the appointment at the garage to get my snow tires on, phoned and asked them to put them aside, made sure yesterday everything was all lined up.

Today – ahhh, can’t find your appointment, don’t know what make those tires were, don’t know if they were put aside….

However, they are trying to close the gap and have promised me they won’t leave me hanging out there.  Well, we’ll see.

It’s a reminder that things don’t always go as we plan and we can have two reactions: get upset, stamp your feet, raise your voice OR say, we’ll how can we make this the best experience possible. What can we do to redeem the time.

While I’m waiting I am able to work on some of my presentations that are coming up, and I can do some school work !

Hope you’re day is good.

By the way, I’m using my Grandpa Waters shortly as an illustration of how one man’s decision can impact numerous generations.  Here he is in 1928/29 (not entirely sure) after his first wife died.

He didn’t worry about his leased vehicle.
