A man was on our street tonight selling subscriptions to a well known telecommunications company…for only $45 more a month than we pay now we could get exactly what we have – what a deal!

In the end he told me how he came from Bangladesh to Canada 8 years ago and has worked here since in a couple of different roles.  He’s wishing Canada would return to it’s peaceful ways….wisa
hing that he wasn’t treated as a commodity…wishing that we were not so influenced by the USA…wishing that Canada really was a place of equal opportunity. i think I agree.

In the meantime I am not accepting his gracious offer to spend more money. He shook my hand and smiled and said he would make the same decision.
