I’ve only ever been in one serious car accident.  I was hit, t-boned as they say, on the driver’s side right by front wheel.  I never did see the other car – it was just a KA BOOM and suddenly I was flying.  I remember that suddenly I realized I couldn’t see out the front window and the car was still moving.

Yesterday we were sitting in stopped traffic, not moving that is, when KA BOOM everything in the front of the car was moving backwards.  Gladly the headrest saved our heads from whiplash….

Turns out the woman behind us drove in to the back of the car.  The hitch took the brunt of the hit but the repairs are about $1200 which will be the driver’s fine I guess for driving in to the back of us.

We are fine.
