The good news is I ran…but that was mostly from the car to the start of the Santa Shuffle.  This was Santa Shuffle Toronto 2012 and based solely on the number of tweets to the hash tag SantaShuffle I would say this was a popular event right across the country.  

Toronto was minus 4 this morning but the ground was clear and the park is large so the crowd didn’t really create any problems.  After getting my number and finding my team we were off – well the runners were off then us “walkers” joined in behind.  The 5 km (5.25 to be exact) went quickly and we were soon back to the beginning for music, food and hot drinks.  It was a great walk and along with the 1.5 km each way getting from and to the car I think it was a good walk.

And of course it was for a good cause too!
