Were you like me – checking the totals most of the evening hoping that we would see who won before it was time for “lights out”?  In the end the President goes back to 1600 Pennsylvania Blvd and the Republicans will begin the process of trying to find another likely candidate for 2016.  Personally I like the tweet I saw go by on Twitter “Big Bird for 2016” !!

So congratulations to all the winners – and to the losers – who both spent enormous amounts of money on the longest election process in the world.
