On our journey from Sydney to Halifax we stopped in to see The Salvation Army’s Scotian Glen Camp. Located just off the highway it is a quiet and picturesque setting. This is one of the few Army camps that I had not seen. It is quite beautiful and I was grateful for a 30 minute pause in the travel so I could take my camera and walk about the property. Of course the children/youth are gone and maintenance works was being done on several parts of the camp. Nova Scotia is a gorgeous part of the country and though it was a bit overcast the air was quite warm.
