First tonight is a great post by Ed Stetzer – but rather than a serious debate on missiology he’s got a photo! I am subscribed to Ed’s blog and enjoy his insights and data related to Church renewal and evangelism. I’ve been to hear Ed in person and he’s a very engaging speaker.
Secondly, perhaps you’ve heard the news that the US Postal system is predicted, based on present statistics, to run into bankruptcy by 2015. They are loosing volume in the first class mail category which has been a big money maker for them. The plan to resolve the economics calls for 120,000 people to be laid off. My economics teacher would plead for no government intervention. That’s an easier pill to swallow if you’re not one of the 120,000. Will the US government decide to leave it alone or act as they did with GM, Ford and Chrysler?
Third, this great photo was from our week in Lake George. I was rather annoyed with myself as I have put my charger for my G10 in a safe place for our move and can’t locate it. By the time we got into our holiday my battery was dead. Canon sells a replacement for $75, Best Buy sells it for $60, I got it on Amazon.ca for $11.23 and shipping charges of $.01…should arrive this week.
Finally, Mom joined Cath, Noah and Laura at JPCC for a week this year taking one of the cottages.
They got some great photos but my favourite is at the bottom of the page. It is evident to me that Cath looks like an Eastland more than ever! That is, in case you are wondering, a good thing!
This is the weekend of Rachel’s dedication so watch for photos on Monday! Have a great weekend!
